Just a hello

Just joined the site. I have been playing chess for about 2 years now, so very new at it. I have just joined this site and wanted to say hi! Full of really good info and top advice. Its keeping me inspired to keep playing.

Thanks for that. When i started playing, i thought that chess was just a board game with slightly complicated rules..... well now i understand that it really is an institution of genius proportions, with theorys and tactics that would take you 10 lifetimes to comprehend.

Its amazing how much there i to it, and also how much you can apply chess to life in general. Military commanders use chess related thinking when making strategic decisions................. what a game!!!! 

hehe! i agree. i think that is why many of us are here :) it's a deep deep addiction :)
