Had a sweet Bishop & Queen checkmate against an 8 year old in the third round.

The bad news is I think he lost on purpose. He hung his Queen and after the game, I heard him tell his friends "that game took FOREVER!". Looking back, I think he was wanting to play Magic more than chess.
Watching kids play is hilarious. They're slapping pieces, slapping the clock, yelling Check!, saying "you can't do that ... Uh huh I can ... No you can't, fine I didn't want to do it anyway"', and my favorite, "Checkmate! No it's not, yes it is, no it's not, yes it is. Ok, wanna go play in the gym?"
