It seems that your highest rated opponent was rated 512.

rating means nothing with accounts activated this year, not to mention like i said above many times, too many people using this to teach lower players. That means they are 1500 or so but using a lower account to teach there followers. Not all of these are content creators either. There is several content creators that even say in their video that chess.com gave them a low rating. No problem people it is what it is, i was just stating that there is not so many people using lichess to teach and therefore a bit more enjoyable
Oh I'm God and I looked over your life including your play here. Although you have been plagued by relentless cheaters ; that is in no way anyone's problem but yours.
Hey man, I know exactly how you feel, I started playing chess and thought I would hit 1000 in a week. started losing alot around 500 and refused to believe it's my fault, players are too good for this elo etc. but the fact is you suck, I suck, there are not that many cheaters or smurfs at 500. I played 170 games and haven't met a single one, so if you get matched against one it's unlucky but overall shouldn't affect you climbing the ladder. I also used to resign after a single blunder, but that's not the right approach. Most of the time you can still win even if you blunder a rook or even a queen. Players also don't know how to checkmate so you can draw around 50 % of time even if you have no pieces and opponent has multiple. If you never resign I promise you are getting to 700 easily just because of this.
tldr: the sooner you realize you are not playing as good as you think, the sooner you are going to climb. and no resigning ever untill you reach 1000!
1Trashcan ty for an honest reply but i have been told what to do, not have an active account and just play as an unregistered user. On another device just use a chess engine to tell me what to do and do this until i learn. I am not mad about nothing, but it is hard to keep playing the way it is even if i do suck... Not meaning that bad, it is what it is and i at least have a plan now
plagued by relentless cheaters, lol, and that one i have not even brought up, but it does add to the problem, that comment was just funny
If that way it helps you not tilt, than sure why not! I get fixated on rating too so I know what its like to lose. Just saying its worth trying to embrace you are 400 right now, once you do it losing is not as bad and you can finally win by not resigning after 1 mistake, because you are not tilted. At least I was doing that all the time. I even resigned after just one pawn difference because it felt like opponents are too good for their rating.
And as you said yourself, 400 can play good matches too, so you aren't doing as bad as you think. Just be patient. You got this!

I know there are alot of cheaters and honestly am little afraid of what it looks like at higher rating where cheaters are running amok, but the truth is at 500 there are so few of them, it really doesn't affect your rating. One loss out of 100 is managable, bonus points if they get caught.
It's infuriating to work on increasing my rating to then see it diminish against what I view are dishonest players. I have no problem in losing a game but I do have a problem with losing against players with a similar or lower elo than me who seem to instantly know the best move and never blunder or make a miss or inaccuracy. Winning with plenty of time left on the clock is a giveaway and it's also very suspect when their latency fluctuates as they are making moves which might suggest they have something else open using bandwidth.
What makes it worse is moderators forbidding any discussion of cheating in the forums and directing members to join a club. There should be a sub-forum so members can discuss cheating without being forced to join a club.
yea that is my biggest concern if I manage to get to 1000 and cheating becomes daily occurance. I also noticed its not being talked about much which is baffling to me. cheaters playing each other and having 2500+ rating after couple games is completely ridiculous.
I play hundreds of games each day it's very rare to come across a cheater and know they're cheating, seems people underestimate their opponents and instead of looking at their own game play they come to the conclusion it's because of cheating.
There is no buzz in cheating having a machine think for you would be so dull, like creating ai art of picasso then claiming it as your own

What are you even saying? do you think people dont cheat because you dont find it fun?
personally I havent met a cheater ingame yet, but I've seen bunch of accounts that cheat, play each other and abuse the system.
Most of you in here probably have a lichess account, the difference for the under 1200 rated player is unbelievable. The seem to start you at 1500 and you have to hang in there at first til your rating drops, but... I noticed i am able to hold my own at around 800 to a 1000. That is a huge difference why I do not know, maybe because they only allow 1 account per person, and you start higher than you should, or not as many people use it to teach and make videos? It does not matter but it is nice to play against people that are as bad as me. One instance the guy had my queen and neither of us even noticed it for a few moves. It is easier not to resign because I am not feeling just totally out classed. No one can tell me there is not a difference between the two for the under 1200 player, that is a fact, why is not my problem to handle.

At lower levels in chess it may pay to hang in there even after blundering away a piece, because your opponent might go on to commit a blunder or two himself.

Please explain exactly what you mean by:
"On another device just use a chess engine to tell me what to do and do this until i learn."
I'm sure that would be very interesting.
lichess and chess.com have different ladder. https://www.chessdojo.club/material/ratings here is a comparison between them. so you playing at 1000 lichess makes perfect sense.
If anything you are doing better at this site! 479 rapid is starting to get tough. I struggle here too
too funny, well at any rate playing lichess at least i dont seem to play advanced players near as often, to funny the way better players try to justify something that doesnt matter to them due to they are not in that situation
