For some reason whenever I get to some amount of points I lose one match then I win a match then I lose again and it just keeps repeating like I swear the people are not supposed to have this low amount of points

That is natural, as you play stronger opponents when your points go up. Your current strength rests at that point until you have enough experience to break through.
