Kasparov v. Short

I saw that first game yesterday of day 2 and I thought Nigel was doing great in that game than he started getting rattled it was obvious. He was up an exchange and Garry attack seemed to have fizzled out. Nigel had a great time advantage and than let it slip with a simple rerouting plan by Garry. I believe the psychological burden of not being aware of what Garry was doing put him on huge edge which caused him to lose some time. Which resulted in him scrambling later on.

After that game Garry looked like one of those Freight Train's just steam rolling down the tracks. Pure unstoppable. I am happy Nigel won a game at least. If the score would of been 9.5-0.5 that would of been to devestiating.

I think you mean " would've " as there's no such thing as " would of ".

But anyway, it alread pretty much was devastating. The one win came about from Kasparov forgetting to manage his clock time. A lot of people were claiming Nigel was just using excuses for his poor showing, but I've seen him play a lot better than this, and he looked visibly exhausted from lack of sleep. Even still, I suspect Kasparov would still have won the match even with Nigel's A-game, but it would have been more of a fight.

Indeed he did seem exhausted. I mean I would be to lol if I had to face someone like Garry lol how could anyone sleep with that in their mind lol.

Can anyone provide a link to a place where you can download all the PGNs from that match?
