For those having trouble getting the killer king achievement here's a position that works. (go to the end):

Basically, you just ladder mate them but you have the queen and the rook staggered so the king can move out of the way, so while really the queen and rook are doing the work technically the king ends the game by moving out of the way and subjecting the opponents king to checkmate. This does of course also work with two rooks and without the pawns, I'm just giving the general idea. And yes I know I the game wasn't the best but what do you expect I'm a 627.
