How about the fact when the queen moves to a position next to the king (whether taking a piece or not) um by game rules you should be able to kill her.. this system is cheating by assuming the win. the next move goes to the opposing team in which they are allowed to take your queen. Why does the game computer cheat?
You can capture the queen if it isn't protected by another piece.

And in addition.. the games I played where the queen put me in "checkmate" the queen was NOT covered by other pieces on the board.. so I guess thank you for showing your lack of intelligence and permitting me to gather your information.. someone will be in touch.

The queen in the games, multiple, was not covered by any other pieces. The computer ended the game as soon as the queen moved next to my King.. I've just never seen that before.

The queen in the games, multiple, was not covered by any other pieces. The computer ended the game as soon as the queen moved next to my King.. I've just never seen that before.
Without a screenshot or a link to a game, it's impossible to say what may have been going on. However, I've never seen an instance of a regular game having an inaccurate called checkmate, so I would guess some other piece coved the queen that you didn't notice.
