Only you, Lesuh, could so easily look at the bright side. The sooner you send me a plane ticket the better. Haggis is nasty stuff, so that rules out kaynight, he'll have to stay behind.
killing time
Well, it's California, but Celts are everywhere. I'm sure you could find a Galician House for immigrants in Hiroshima.
@ Kaynight - I'm honored by such a straightforward appreciative post from you, thanks Kay. :) :) I have to admit, sometimes your witticisms are over my head; but I usually appreciate the humor of the ones that I understand. ;)
@ Marco - I wish I could afford plane tickets for all of you. I will buy a lottery ticket, today! Although, since most of my friends seem to live in Europe, with a suprising proportion in merry old England, maybe I should start saving for a trip out to see all of you. We could rent out a place and have the most lively chess.com gathering, ever!
I can't, I'm at cell phone. :) Stay at home, I don't mind trying the Panamerican. And I'd love to meet Magic Johnson.
Okay, I'm going to try to understand that! Do you mean that everyone is being sentimental and lovey dovey like this is the last night they will live...? Kinda like deathbed confessions?
Wasn't that the night the enemies left the arms and were singing together for a while?
I just googled that. Really lovely. God Bless all of you. :)
God Bless...Tomorrow we will be back at each other's throats.
I say hold on a cotten-picking minute. Not in this thread. It is a trench,of sorts, in no-mans land.... but there is Pulp to respect it , SP to warm it, babytigrr to keep it real, unwingain to defend it & kaynight being tempted to reveal his better nature. Besides that, we have defectors & potential trench mates.
But thanks Lesuh, for making this trench a nice place to be.
...of course, it should never have got any ground anyway.

I vote to clone pretty much all of you people and send the clones out here to live near me. We can play chess and socialize. :)
