KINGS GAMMIT REFUTED

i didnt f5 was bad .

i said with coldhard calculation  and endgame precision the ruy lopez gammit can still win for black..

i never said , the solution is simple , black can make his doubled pawn into monsters here , in "theroy" white looks better.

e4 e5 , Nf3 Nc6 , bb5 a6 , bishop takes the knight d takes c6 , d4 e takes d4, knight takes d4 in theroy whites better but black has endgame play here with proper precision !!

I knew how to play chess when I was 4.

Other than you, I don't remember anyone calling "Gambit" gammit.

few do. in theroy looks better , but black has counterattacking resources with the bishops and doubled pawns.

I learned how to move the chess pieces on the board when I was 5, but really never heard "gammit" before. Even now, when trying to find this word not only in the comprehensive dictionaries, but also when looking for it in Google - really not an easy thing to be sure of Smile. Maybe "gammit" is common in the area where you live, or maybe at your local chess club, that's all right, my vocabulary will be 1 word richer )

It's an act. A boring one, but an act nonetheless.

theroy lopez gammit?

My contenders for 'theroy' -The greatest Roy in history: Roy Orbison, Roy Scheider, Patrick Roy (I know the pronunciation is different but I can't think of any others).

What about the highlands highwayman Rob Roy?

Good one Batgirl. I add the British comicbook legend 'Roy of The Rovers'.

But not off-colour British comedian Roy 'chubby' Brown.

It's just amazing how a person who says he is a CM (with a decent rating, 1941 live standard) helps other players improve their chess.

@Amplebeee, I am in a way sorry to state that, but just imagine - I am nearly new to chess, of about 1400-1550 rating on this chess site, having no idea of the chess opening theory, having not practiced any special openings and having not studied any opening, just simply playing chess as it is - and then you (in the position of the Kieseritzky gambit from the Classical defense of the King's gambit) after 1.e4 e5 2.f4 ef 3.Nf3 g5 4.h4 g4 help me to imrove my chess by saying that "5.Ne5 is a bad move!!!" - I  could have believed you (taking into account your current rating and the fact that you call yourself a CM), just like any other lower-rated player who did not have to do with the chess opening theory might believe what a higher-rated player, a "CM", says about this or that move or variation.

I sincerely hope that you did not mean yourself to "help people like that kid lagozar"

Just a question - can it be really so that a Candidate Master (if I understand correctly the "CM" which you have written) has no idea about the Kieseritzky gambit in the King's gambit, and is it really possible that a Candidat Master can consider a move like (1.e4 e5 2.f4 ef 3.Nf3 g5 4.h4 g4) 5.Ne5 as a bad move? I do not mean to offend any Candidate Master, I just wondered if it is possible something like that with Candidate Masters.

its just better not to be playing me with it thats all...

whereas other players dont have an opening advantage to kings gambit.

if you wanna play Ne5 its fine , but preparation of Qe7 needs to be practiced....

How many openings can a human actually study throughly???

I studied the kings gambit and am still attempting to study the mafia defense , which can be bad for me , cause a more prepared player , will squash it , whereas I have a confident advantage playing black accepting the kings gambit..

how do gambits work at the higest levels ?? = they dont , because higher level players  usually dont fall for them..

   proud to be a chessuretroll.
