I would like to share a game that I played with the black pieces where a seemingly standard opening produced a nice tactic with the two knights. I was able to make some in-between moves to get my knight to a central square and after some trades a beautiful combination arose. Of course my opponent could have played better moves but i think it's always interesting to find tactics so early on in the game.
I do not know how you were not punished for your over-the-top aggressiveness.
It wasn't like the agressivness didn't have a reason though, it was just tactics and his opponent went on defense right away while black continued on. I don't know if I would have traded both my knights for a queen but it still seemed like a solid game, probably some inaccuracies but there wasn't an obvious blunder to point out
