I dunno if that worths sacrifizing your most active knight
knight sac sound?
Even though it looks alright perhaps better was 9.Ng5 ... Qc8 10. NxP winning the pawn because if pxn BxP+ KH8 BxQ.

The knight sac is perfectly sound! In fact, in the final position 13.Bxe6+! Kg6 14.Bxc8 winning the queen. Therefore, Kxf7 is a blunder. However, after 12...Rxf7 13.Bxe6 Qf8, the position is equal.
Nxf7 was a fine move!
You could - why would you want to?
What is the long-term follow-up? Your plan for the next 5-10 moves?
If you can't answer that, the sacrifice wouldn't be sound even if it was (which it isn't!).

One pawn isn't sufficient. Also consider that this pawn is going to be a disadvantage for black in the final (based on the given position with most pieces removed), since the knight in front of it has to be moved away, therefore losing a tempo.
thinking of if i could take paw
n here to weaken king and win 2 pawns
