There are some excellent videos from ChessBase on YouTube. The playlists for Fritz 12 and 13 should be relevant. It is essentially the same GUI you got with Komodo 9.
Komodo chess engine
I have Komodo 8, it's pretty much the same GUI. If you want to enter games and manage databases, Fritz/Komodo is not your best choice (ChessBase 13 is better). However, if you want to play games against the computer, then I think the Komodo GUI is great. For tutorials, go onto Youtube and search "komodo 9 gui tutorial" or something like that.
You must be a bit confused.
Komodo is just an engine without GUI. It can run in any application which supports the UCI protocol.
The Komodo GUI is... well, an interface for Komodo IDE, which is used by software developers. It can do a lot of things, but playing chess is definitely not one of them!
Do you have something like that in mind?

You can read there: It's the Fritz UI, and the Komodo engine bundled.
I have just installed the Komodo chess 9 program in my computer. Can someone recomend where to search on line for a good tutorial on the Komodo program? Very much appriciate the information.
