Having "GM" in one's nickname doesn't make one GM.

"beat " is the right way to say it "beaten" is considered non-standard...I'm guessing your first language is French or you are a kid???

You only beat an 1107 player. Just because he put the letters GM in his screen name does not make him a GM. It has to be in front of his name, in red letters, to be a real FIDE title.
