lag at end of games

every time i play on my phone...the lag is ways worst at the end of the games...when its critical. so annoying like data usage is too high. i lose more 3 min games like this on time than anythong else. It doesn't seem to matter the carrier either...its a chess.com thing it appears. i don't think people actually can manipulate the clock either although i see alot of posts around this subject.

its fine the first 2:30 of the game.

Agree same thing here always towards the end and not just me but other people complaint about the same issues I think chess.com does it on purpose , most likely, why? Not sure could be various reasons

What if it seems worst at the end of the game for these reasons :

1)You're playing fast so lag is more visible.

2)You look at the timer more often because you are in time trouble.

3)The time is shown in hundreths of a second so lag can be seen more.

4)Your opponent plays faster so the time added on because of lag is more obvious.

5) The reason number 2) but for the time of your opponent.

6) The reason number 3) but for the time of your opponent.

These are just some possibilitys

i wish it was that simple but the software sewms to just "bog down" for lack of a better term...my signal goes dim. people will say..its your service but its not that...as it always happens near the end only. its almost like chess.com has a streaming glitch at a certain data usage point. anyway appreciate any and all feedback, theories etc.

Yeah, some guy posted a video of his 3 minute game on a phone. He said it lagged at the end, and even told us to watch a particular time of the video.

But if you watch the whole video, there was a worse lag spike in the middle of the game that the uploader apparently didn't notice at all.

Of course he also lost a few seconds in the opening, but people just ignore that.

Anyway, I've tried 3 minute blitz on my phone on different sites. It's never a good experience because there is lag. Maybe if you have a fancy new phone it's better? Or you have a really good signal? Never happened to me though.
