lazy moves

I been on this site for about 3 days now and I am already making lazy moves.  One lazy move gave me my first lost.  Now I am playing in a game and my opponent may have made a gross oversight and I repiled with a developing move and now I am fighting for the initative and dear life.   The point I am making is that most good chessplayers look at the obvious moves and place them on the backbunner for later, then look at the obscure moves and give short variations and draw some provisional conclusions, and finally look at the natural/reflex moves.  Then goes back to those short varations (if deemed more promising then natural moves) put move concrete work in and look at the pros and cons and put those against the natural moves.   Me, I just moved and that is unacceptable and just plain lazy.

Hard work pays off over time but laziness pays off now.
