Post #8 is a repetition of post #1.
Sorry for any confusion.
I didn't see any interest at first, so I tried to delete the entire thread until a few chess.com members started posting some humorous things.
Enjoy the humor. The meat of the thread will follow.

To improve at chess, I have chosen to be crushed on a daily basis.
I am challenging only the players better than me (900-1400) at Live Chess Blitz.
My current blitz rating is 879 and my percentile rank is 19.2%. Thinking like a school teacher, which I am, 90% = A, 80% = B, 70% = C, 60% = D and and below 60% a big fat F. So, I am getting an F in Blitz chess. Arg!
I just crushed someone rated 1197 in Blitz. Ranked at 64.7%, this person is currently getting a D in chess, so I can’t get too excited just yet. After getting crushed by me, this player’s rating dropped 52 points, from 1197 to 1145 in one game! Is that why I am not seeing any 1400 players accept my challenge yet? How many points would they lose against me?
I’m tired of players who start with absolutely lame, stupid, pointless opening systems, i.e., pawn only openings, queen/bishop targeting f7/f2 square openings, etc. It’s just bad chess, and I won’t improve by playing against bad chess players who don’t take the time to do the homework necessary to sufficiently stimulate my vast intellect.
I double dog dare any 1400 player to risk their precious rating points on this patzer/beginner.

O.K. There was my bit of bravado. But I still double dog dare any 1400 player to challenge me in a 10 minute blitz game. Do you have the guts to wager that many hard earned points?
