I was referring to the key concept of over training in machine learning in general, whereby an AI fails to generalise well to new situations because it has learnt too much about irrelevant details of its experience. But your question is valid for Leela: I am not aware there is any chance it could suffer from this problem: it comes down to details of the training regime.

It is however, highly pathological for an AI to get worse performance from more data. More data is always better if it is relevant and used appropriately.

Can OP please provide me link to files and instructions to use the engine on Fritz 16? I search in their website but no luck

So they have tested exactly the same replica of  of Alpha Zero, (20x256, blocks and filters). And the result is not bad.  .And I think it is the best vesion of Leela I guess( may be cuDNN)!! 

Btw, leela is back to her routine progress. 

Wow latest id has 100 plus elo more than id 253 which was the best so far. But still blunders queen with white on 0 plus 1.

Did you ever play vs cuDNN version? I dont know how strong you are in blitz. What I see is your whinge posts only (people sandbag/cheats and you lose your rating)

Many times, including GMs , bullet mostly. Just now won vs FM.  In 3 plus 2 blitz my last victory was vs FM also here 2100 plus rated.
