Interesting! I Never heard about this "5th vs. 6th rank" rule...
For some reason, I think that 29...Ke5 still held - but I may be wrong of course.
5th rank is the minimum required rank to get a draw.If your rook can block in 3rd and 4th rank, it will be much easier to get a draw. It would be good to check carefully with stockfish!( i am bored to check though)

I got the cpu version (1 thread) of LCZero (ID 69) installed in Arena; No problems at all. It's currently battling Roce 0.0360, and it's roughly 20 points ahead after 90-something games. Roce 0.0360 is rated around 1670-ish, so LCZero cpu is playing at about a 1690-ish level, more or less.

It's getting stronger very quickly. Tonight I lost for the 1st time.
The finishing touch (the last few moves) already shows the strong ability of a master. This is scary!
Of course I'm playing quickly and rather casually - but just a week ago this was all so easy!
Some rating list showed that Leela reached 2274 in Geforce GTX 1060 at 1 min/ game time control. On play.lczero.org , I dont know her rating, but some people guess 1500-1600 on instant move and 1800-1900 on longer time. Those all estimates,but she gained about 250 elo from last week.

In your game i dont like 11.e4!? centre break strategy . May be 11. h3, (to save bishop when black attempt to exchange with kt), prevent black from pushing e5. And then b4, Qb3, b5 queen-side push.

This is scary, an AI learning online by playing against humans, imagine when it hits 2800, can’t be more than a few months away when it can increase its strength by 250 rating point within a week.
