Lenny Boungcloud trophy?

hm..I think that quite a good idea...
somehow it need some time for processing...making much time prediction of a person's luck in a given year
I just won a game with two queens using the Bongcloud. It was against the computer, though, so I didn't get a transcript. Doh!

I can see the name of the trophy, though.
The "I can't believe you beat me with the f***ing Bongcloud!" trophy with a picture of a smoking bong, of course.

Who has played a $5 holdem SNG where some donkey goes all in every hand? Then if they win they say "its great strategy! I won didn't I?" Well the some kind of logic seems to be being applied here. [note: I see the humor, but it disgusts me to think that some 9 year old beginner might end up naively taking the idea seriously]

Good point, Quix. Okay... this is for the beginners out there:this is a crap opening and when I say otherwise, it's only as a joke. Back to the topic at hand. The Bongcloud is the greatest opening out there! It's irrefutable!

Best Schmest...to say something is the best is crazy...there is no way you could play the Tromp every time and beat me, unless you simply were better than me. And the Tromp is a limited opening, confined to d4 Nf6 openings. To play the Tromp against the Dutch, it would be d4 f5 Bg5, and then g6 is a simple way to develop...or to take Steinitz c6!? idea to heart, getting the queen out of dodge early and preparing queenside castling...and Bg5 then is not the "best" move, as it doesn't serve a purpose in causing Black any discomfort at all.
As a matter of fact, I had an opening DVD on the Trompowsky, and Black had a simple response that kept his pawns solid...d4 Nf6 Bg5 e6 e4 h6! and White trades the two bishops for space...BxN (otherwise Bg5 is a wasted move) QxB and Black has an acceptable position free from weakness. If e5, Qd8 and White still hasn't created a great problem.
To say the Tromp is the best is like me saying the Bird is the best...I love it, so I play it, but there is no way to judge one opening against another. I'd play the Trompowsky too, but I like to play 1. f4 first :-).

A "Bongcloud Tournament" has not long finished:

I reiterate the point I made in the forum at the above link:
"I am ther Master of Bongcloud, the rest of you mere acolytes. Any takers for a one-on-one challenge? Just you and the Master, Sir. Mwahahahaha! "
What do you guys think? If they played the boungcloud attack and won. Maybe just a king trophy since they have one for everyone else.
