This is one of my lesson summaries and a game review I did. Let me know if you like it. I can do the same for anyone who is interested.
I took the time to review this game. Go over it first and then read the summary below.
Lessons to be learned from this game...
1. Only exchange pieces unless you have to, or it benefits you in some way.
2. Before you move, ask yourself if my opponent is threatening anything.
3. Get all of your pieces active, you can't win a chess game with just 1 piece.
4. Always fight for control of the open file, especially if there is only one.
5. If you are up material, you want to trade pieces not pawns, and vice versa if you are down material, you want to trade pawns not pieces.
6. if you have passed pawns push them down the board!
7. you want to have active rooks in the engame.
