Deep down, in your heart, you know you're wrong (and bad at chess).

I never said I was good at chess I keep saying that I'm a BEGINNER you are an id. ......

No, you keep saying you're intermediate.

No, you keep saying you're intermediate.

Yes that is true I'm an intermediate now 😉

But still weak at chess you are absolutely right

By the way I had a long post about your saying how a past account of mine was closed. I name dropped people like @kayt, @jamiedelarosa, and @virtualknightjoakim

But because of my bad language the auto mod ate it.

I'm glad chess.com auto-censors words like d u m b a s s (which VKJ is) but lets kids under 10 join and spam garbage all day.

Thanks so much chess.com. This community is really worth being a part of /s

You know, @Erik should invite a few journalists to do a piece on the forums.

I'm sure in their final analysis they'll say something like this:

"chess.com's community is vibrant, inclusive, and constantly evolving, but if it lacks one thing, it's a horde of 12 year olds with pokemon avatars who fill off-topic with posts like "hi" and "let's count to 10 before mods mute us"

I'm sure that would help the admins gain some perspective and set reasonable goals for 2021.

Meanwhile, we could definitely do with fewer posters like GOP and RJC... good thing they left.

We should be sure to have people like Ziryab and Batgirl post as infrequently as possible too... but thank god yal has a new AMA. That's sure to get 20,000 comments.

It is only in online chess that one can play 1.b4 as White like 100% of the time for thousands of games, without ever needing to fear that their opponents will prepare specificaly for them. It just goes to show how detached online chess is from real otb chess. What does the following says about a player: "ESP-918 is a 2300 chess.com player". Absoultely nothing. It sounds so impersonal, unrelatable. It could be anyone, or it could be several persons using the same account. That is why we have FIDE and USCF cards with names on it where we can see clearly who knows chess, and how well they play it.

OTB has loads of benefits and upsides, but it does also have downsides. Someone can't always choose the exact time they want to play. They can't always get their rating accurate quickly compared to online chess. There are loads of things to consider and I don't think one is better than the other.

Don't talk non sense, it's not classical chess and even if you know I play b4 in real life OTB you will still have no chance in blitz

I've ssen some of your games. You're weak man, no offense.

IsraeliGal

Lets be real ur a blow average blitz player who cant stand that they are inadequate at a board game they waste so much time trying to improve at.

There's no time to think about moves, if you main blitz you're a terrible player not much more to say

I'll be realistic blitz needs quick thinking and problem solving skills otherwise you are gonna blunder every single move . So no it does need skill but I really don't see the point of hating on it . Have you ever seen some cricket fan say "Let's be real , T20 needs no skill" ?

And if you like classical so much then go play it and ignore blitz sigh*

The lower blitz/bullet ratings on chess.com can be extremely tough compared to the rapid and he seems to be a victim of it and is now crying because of it.

Probably . Even rapid games in lower ranks are competitive

Your comment is very silly. If blitz was so "easy" as you say, then why are you so terrible at it?

The best players in the world in classical time controls are also the best at rapid, blitz, and bullet. That's not a coincidence. The faster games are just as much of a skill contest as the slower games, they just draw on different resources. It's the same game, same pieces, same rules.

Blitz takes plenty of skill. Why else would all the top blitz players also be top classical players?

kevalin89

Here on chess.com it's less about skill than about good connection and fast moves. Low quality of play...
