I think a bullet strategy should be that think fast and make a good move, blitz's is think fast but not too fast so you make a bad move, and rapid's is that you should take 5-10 seconds thinking about your next move. :3

Sometimes seconds or less time determines the winner of rapid also, I have experience... If I had not promoted a pawn into a queen I would have won a recent 10 min rapid game because I lost with timeout opponent still having 0,03 time left. The promotion took a second extra that I didn't have. Don't think u have all the time in the world in rapid. There can be surprises.

The pawn promotion is just too juicy to pass up... but I hope I will be wiser next time if the situation happens again!

I don't know why nobody mentions freestyle. I don't know why but scrambled pieces orders seem to be my strong point and actually more fun than bullet. How can you even learn out of the box thinking without it? It's perfect for that because once in a while there comes an opponent who tries to confuse you with weird moves and you gotta be prepared for that and not freeze.

my only bullet wins are when I move my pawns and kings randomly just to do a quick move and run out the time
