Lichess Patron Vs Chess.com Membership

I have had lichess patron and I have also had chess.com membership gifted to me so I wanted to compare them both

Chess.com Membership Review:

So the first thing I did was try out the insights. I thought the number of brilliant moves I had was kinda low. Idrc about the ratings of my openings and endgames, that was kinda pointless imo

I used puzzle rush a bit ig but it felt like I was wasting my life after the 5th attempt so I stopped. Also, game reviews I don't use I just use analysis

I wasn't able to change my username unless I had actually paid for the membership so that was also pretty useless

I think the biggest thing about chess.com membership is that you get a diamond in your username and if you accidentally click on the diamond then you get redirected to the payment page. That was really annoying to click on, so I would actually say the quality of the site is better if you don't have membership because you can't accidentally click on the payment page that way

Lichess Patron Review:

This is also useless but at least lichess doesn't pretend that it's not. I think the wings look a bit nicer than the diamond. It's £200 for life so that works out cheaper than chess.com membership too

It also feels better having patron. Like you feel better about yourself because you're not supporting the axis powers of online chess and you're with the allies instead

So overall I would say lichess patron is better than chess.com membership. What do you think?

Chess.com membership is great for puzzles

but lichess has free puzzles…

I don't use either site for puzzles. They both could improve on that

Although it is nice on lichess to see puzzles that come from your own games
