with lichess you are not as much worried about how much your elo goes up so you play better
lichess´s community is a bit small but but more healthier and better than chess.com´s

1)it's too laggy here to play 3+2 and 5+5 and lichess has lag compensation for that.
2)ads are frustrating here (even tho they're blocked)
3)because lichess is just free, forever without any paywalls and here, you're greeted with a membership offer, blocking many things needed for a learner behind a paywall.
lihess for sure. i like the puzzle games at chess.com, but It's not worth paying money monthly for it. I'd be willing to make a one-time payment Without any future updates. I hate subscriptions
Lichess got free puzzles but other than that I prefer chess.com
Both of them is good I think chess is Too Expensive and The normal players is cant solve puzles but its good lichess is also good
Chess.com has better ui but lichess feels smoother it depends on what you want

I do tactics at lichess. I’m 2200 there, but I’m 2600 on cc so I guess I like cc better. On chesstempo I’m only 1864 in the blitz set. So that’s the worst one for me. I’ll stay with cc.

I prefer Chess for almost everything, but I really like the analysis function on the other. I'm glad there's some competition, so having both is a good thing.

Fully agree on the studies. I’m a diamond member here and also a member of ChessTempo, so free puzzles are not much of an inducement.
I’ve played tournaments both places and suggested improvements for both. In arena tournaments, games abort when arena ends here (leading to many problems). Pairing in arena on Lichess is often glacial. Both sites can do better.
