Thanks...I was just thinking one could write a bestselling book on chess.com threads. of course it would be instantly banned in most countries but that would greatly enhance its appeal

Excellent investigative reporting as usual, netzach! As one of the spectators of the MVM "award", I would really like to see a coup, a charity thread, and of course a thread lock at some point during the awards proceedings

See this is what is going to happen.
Right now everybody is cool about it. About the end of summertime things will start to heat up. We are going to get arguements about people pading their profile points to arguements about which activity has contributed to the profile points. At that moment another forum will start about the candidates and whom has visited their page and why. Who has the better quality viewer. Also if a member has an unfair advantage becuase they are from a certain country, female, large team, titled or been here longer.

How did the term troll enter here. For that he should have to spend a week with every troll on this site. How would a troll have that many quality views. Yeah they could get 500,000 views based on everybody want to post "troll" on the note section of their profile page. But in no way is chess.com going to give them the award.
This is going to come down to the top profile view pts with the quanity of activities, quality of activities and theme of profile page that produced those "Profile views"!!!!
