Ok, I won't tell you :-)
It's not that hard to beat, although you have to resist the temptation to move quickly just because he does.

Yes, I've beaten that tricky computer a few times. No, lol, you don't suck. Little ChessPartner is tough, and decent in the openings it utilizes. It's very difficult to defeat, it is a teaching computer after all.
Good luck!!
I sometime was able to beat it in medium strength.
Important is to have a good opening and to advance with a good attack,
afterwards "Little ChessPartner" often begins to make useless moves having exhausted all ideas for any plan or strategy.
With hard strength indeed it is quite impossible for me to beat "Little ChessPartner"
What strength are you playing "Little ChessPartner" kevguy74 ?
I can usually beat the program with strength = easy. The problem I have is that I tend to play it in blitz mode and I am a terrible blitz player. It seems to move the rook around the back rank a few times in the middle of the game to give the human a chance to gain a tempo.
I beat little chess partner 70% of the time, but having said that I have my days
where the mind isn't so sharp... I played it 100 times a day for a month straight or more... I've been playing and studying for a few years... and played allot of chess in the past 2, or i.e active... so I got good at it's strength level... ( I only play hard level ) As well I play fast... I FIND it's power is in the middle game really, it will shred you if you don't slow a little...
THE opening you must not get fancy it will not miss your slight blunder even
if it's for a pawn... etc... I listen to mediational music while playing somehow this relaxes me.... here are the links below 2 of them I like, hope you like 1...

and this one is cool but only for a little while as well

well anyways I play to learn... I feel the 1800 level is somewhat close...
when I play people who are rated 1600 I crush them in slow play and in blitz
it's worse... but 1800 is a good level for the amount of years I have been playing... point I am making is.. little chess partner is a great punching bag...
especially for people who are starting out like myself and BIG TIME USEFULL
FOR THOSE WHO LOOSE 96% of the time to it... I would also which helped me
( COUNT THE POINTS AT THE END OF YOUR LOSS ) if you play for a week and
find the next week your games are less and less points on the board or closer
then it gives you drive to keep it up...
I FIND as well this is representive of most 2000 level players... they thrive on your mistakes... and look to mince you tatically when the game is open... the compture will do the same if you let it... if you open wrong the game is lost...
if the game becomes open you are not out of danger you must have a solid postional set up to increase the chance of winning...
I think as well it's good to study some openings i.e take 1 a day and really study it... even take it out on the board and re construct it... play it against the
little chess partner see what it does etc... well I played thousands of games before I saw a 50% - 50% feeling... and another few thousand before I got over the hump but I think it all depends on your day and how drained you are because
the computers day and it's energy level is always the same... that is difficult
at times to realize till you drop a few games in a row and wonder why...
As well... e4 while playing white, followed by knight f3 seems to increase
your odds of winning... study the fisher lines on this as well, the computer no surprise has trouble with this line for what ever reasons... black I would castle
fast i.e kings indian and cover the attacking line with E3, AND knight e2 to
compensate... has worked for me, I have no clue what you all play well good
luck AND MAY YOU LIVE TO PLAY 10,000 MORE GAMES.... bye the way if you don't
find rating power to be a big deal watch a 2100 level player, play any 2700
level player... it's usually never even close... so if you are 1500 this little chess partner will be a good way to inch your way up...
The "Little ChessPartner" is not hard to beat, I move too fast when I play it...
{Just like in Blitz Games}.
ADK
I am quite a novice chess player (started playing regularly last week), and I managed to beat little chess partner on medium mode. In hard mode I had a pawn and positional advantage, however later I made a serious blunder (I don't have enough routine) and lost.
All in all, my strategy was to not hurry, but to carefully analyze strategically the positions.
Anyone ever beaten our computer opponent "Little ChessPartner"? I must have played it 10 times. Never even come close. Do I just suck at my favorite game or is this computer player impossible to beat? Please dont tell me I suck... LOL.
