Live analysis and Live games

Hi.  Could someone explain what "live chess" means?  How is that different from just playing a live game?

Also could someone explain what "live analysis" means?  How is it different from clicking the plain old "analysis" button?

Thanks!

There is live chess (e.g. 15+10) or daily chess.

There's a live chess analysis board, aka Classroom (Learn > Classroom), which allows members to invite other members to a shared analysis session.

Thanks, but what is the difference between "live chess" and "daily chess"?  And what is the difference between "Play" and "Live chess"?

Thanks.

A live chess game is played continuously in one sitting just like an OTB chess game.

Daily chess is one or more days per move. It's the online equivalent of correspondence chess.

"Play > Play" is the newer interface which combines access to live and daily chess.

"Play > Live Chess" is the older live chess interface which will be removed at some point.
