Live Chess: Where can I change opponent`s rating?

Sort:

Hello Chessers,

I have just recognized that I cannot change the rating range for opponents anymore in Live Chess. E.g. I want to play opponents between 850 and 1000 - and I still get opponents wide below that range. Weeks before I could change that - know this option has seem to be disappeared.

Any suggestions ??

The opponent range table (ie. where we setup the range) has disappered.
Can't see it anymore ...

This issue still persists.  If anyone has any advice/news of what's going on it would be appreciated.

You have to choose custom in the time menu and then the rating button pops up.  It's also how you get an unrated game.

Home>Live Chess.  See that big orange "Play live chess" button?  Don't click on it.  See that list of things you can do just to the right ?   One of them is "play now".  Click on it and that brings you to a screen with the drop down time menu.  Click on the upside down triangle and it opens.  Hope that helped.

You can change the rating range when creating a Custom Challenge. You can also set your default Outgoing Challenge ratings in Settings > Live

So You want to change the opponents rating?

Actually quite simple, play the opponent! Increasing his rating You need to win against him / her / it, decreasing You have to lose.

Hope this helps You to adjust the rating of all opponents to your gusto
