Well, time is inherently more a part of the game in blitz and bullet than it is in classical and rapid; therefore, those who play bullet and blitz must accept the possibility of themselves exhausting all of their time whilst in a favorable position. Due to this factor, I prefer rapid. I believe it is more indicative of an individual's chess skills than faster time controls. However, I may begin participating in blitz and bullet. All time controls possess their respective merits!

For sure and I also applaud your thinking for your post.
I play more bullet than the other time controls when in bad shape, since I rather lose my bullet rating rather than my rapid. And besides, I am a bit addicted to the adrenalin you get from bullet.

Rapid is better than blitz and bullet, however my favorite chess game is sitting and playing with a friend over the board with no time control at all. That is cozy!
I was always a fan of Daily chess, played at three days per move.
That's one of the standard time controls for real-life Postal chess. That sort of time control allows you to actually come up with moves that make sense, that form a link in a plan... rather than playing random moves just because your time is running short.
Daily chess, three days per move. I'm black:
Bullet can be enjoyable. I was gifted a cellular smart phone yesterday; I engaged in multiple games of bullet as a guest (as I had not logged into chess.com on the device) and enjoyed the thrill of playing! I might start playing bullet chess.
Congratulations! Rapid is my favorite time control as well! (I wish chess.com had popularized classical chess, though)
Thank you my friend.

The real purpose of playing chess is checkmating the opponents king, and flagging is giving a hollow sense of victory. That is the reason people resign a move from mate or they rage quit; they want to spoil your victory!
