Hello so in about a couple of weeks i have a tournament and there are seperate sections to play and i am playing in one of the top divisions and i have noticed after about 3 tournaments that 90-98 percent of the players are tactical novices(hanging pieces, knowing nothing bout positional chess etc)  so i have been playing bullet chess because most of my games are very tacticall and end in the endgame and in case clocks come out ( if a game takes too long they put a clock on your game with 5 minutes flat should i practice more tactics or should i prepare for positional chess?

I would recommend that you practice both. And try to play longer games to prepare for the tournament. Also, review openings and you will be fine. Also, stay calm during the tournament. Other than that have a good day bye.
