Of course it's possible to lose. Black could hang all 9 queens and then while white cannot force mate with two knights, black may accidentally walk into a 2 mate knight.
It's not stalemate, both sides have moves. Ke2 is possible for white. Black can do whatever. I still think black will hang all queens and then get mated with two knights.

Black does not need to keep a queen to let white mate him. It can be done in any of the corners if the black king ends up on a8, white king on a6, knights on c6 and b6. Black has to really be willing to help white though.
