There was a scene I saw in Marathon Mindy #7 - Feeling the Burn, that ran for close to five hours

There's a forced mate in over 500 moves somewhere.

I had a pretty long one in one of my OTB games, but it was not 100% forced though, but a long attack in the R+Q ending. You can see it at my forum "Please help me analyze this game".

I just discovered one with 290 moves
