Looking for a carrier plan

Hey guys,

I'm a retired chess player. I hit ~1950 ELO at my best times (like 20 years ago). I would like to get back to the game. I'm from Argentina. Here a lot of masters recommend the following carrier plan:

General Treatise, by Roberto Grau. These are 4 books.
Elite Training, by Mark Dvoretsky. These are 2 books.
Openings.
This plan will push you to ~2000+ ELO.

So my questions are:

What do you think, should I re-read these books again?
What's your carrier plan?
Do you have a carrier plan to recommend?

"I would like to get back to the game." ++ Then you need no books, you need to play.
You will be slower at first and get into time trouble but become faster and more effcient as you play more.

"should I re-read these books again?" ++ No.
"Do you have a carrier plan to recommend?"
++ Play and analyse your lost games. Study grandmaster games.

Yes you don't need a to review your book because it would be boring unless you really forgot all of the things that are written on those books. If you don't know the answer, I suggest you need to play first to troubleshoot all of the things that you had forgotten and find that specific topic that tackles those problem. It is uncomfortable at first but you must believe at yourself that you can still become your past prime.
