looking to coach a U1200 rated for free! limited time

I think it's better getting one of the many very cheap coaches here (like 10-15 USD/hour) who are weak masters, but can at least expose you to master-level thinking, even if they're not great teachers.

10-15$ an hour? That's a great price. Did I miss an obvious page/link on the site? Because I would love to take a look at the options for this if you happen to have a link handy.

I've seen a pair of Serbian coaches (forgot names) who were coaching for 15 USD/hr, paid through Bitcoin (which I'm sure they're very happy about). Some decent reviews for them as well.
I also know "Logozar", who's a decent player, who offers for less than 10, and "Kiesyrk" (can't spell the name right, but an NM) who offers for 15 USD/hr.
There are many coaches who are just above this very cheap price.

Now we are seriously talking. Here in Indiana, the last time I looked the only really good option up until the last few years was GM Gregory Kaidanov in Kentucky, about a three hour drive away. But he's $100 an hour, and while I am not hurting, I can't do that.

You can do online coaching. It's probably much better than OTB coaching, for convenience sake. Not everyone lives around a bunch of chess masters.
Also, someone like Kaidanov I wouldn't recommend (although I'm not that knowledgeable about coaching, this is a pretty strong feeling) to anyone who isn't in the situation of "FM trying to be IM" or something. In general, a class player doesn't need a GM coach - masters in general are fine.

Now in 2017, with online chess being so wide and popular, everyone having fast HD stream capable internet and Skype, and sharable interfaces, everyone can get coaching from anywhere. I'd be surprised if Kaidanov can keep up the $100 an hour prices with all the options that open up with online. You can literally get into video contact with GMs from around the world in minutes now. Just a matter of finding the right one. Then again, as supply expands, in this case so does demand so prices may drop but only to a point.

Jesus someone offers Lessons free and you guys still have to question even that. You could have just given it a try no need to be disrespectful. I simply meant some variants of the game that go by team work. @wanttobegm your in I'll msg you. I'll take on one more

I've seen (and have) books written by 1900s that were more instructive, clear, and downright enlightening than the vast majority of books written by GMs.
