I won 5 games in a row! A couple of them against higher rated players. I thought I was finally "getting it". I was spinning mating webs, discovering traps to set . . . I just lost a couple of games to lower rated rank beginners. One problem was I started 4 in one day (by accident) and I get confused jumping from game to game. Plus, I was careless. I think I let the rating of the opponent affect the effort I put into the game. oh well. Its not like I am under the illusion I will be a grand master some day. Not anymore anyway.

I've just gone from 1171 to 1101 in one day, playing well at times but making one mistake that cost me the game when winning.
So frustrating it's unbelievable.
Has anyone gone on a long downward trend of -160 points?. I can't understand after 3000 games I could lose so many games to players I've been rated higher in the past.
