I'been using Lucas chess and i find it extremely usefull. One thiong  I have not discovered is whether it has an option to search a postion through a games database, something like the tree in SCIDvs PC.

Thanks

Yes it has that feature. Under tools, database I think (not at my computer right now). It is very slow and clunky, though, since it doesn't use a proper database structure and the db features are just tacked on. I would personally not use lc for this until it comes a long way in this area.

Thanks a lot for your comments.

(I know, I am extremely careless when typing. But don't be that harsh. I only made 3 mistakes in 3 lines!)

It hasn´t this option.

I´ll try to improve this area in the next version (10).

Lucas Chess is pretty useful. I have a MacBook and initially I was disappointed because it's a Windows program. But, I found a program called Wineskin that allows you to run Lucas Chess on a Mac. I use it all the time.
