Magnus' behavior should also be put to question

Why not more discussion about Magnus' cryptic tweet being irresponsible and reckless?  He knows exactly what he's doing posting like that on twitter.  He knows that it will be perceived exactly as it has --- that Hans allegedly cheated in their game.  He then provides no proof whatsoever while the story continues to blow up online.  To the outside world, Magnus Carlsen is the face of chess and this is a bad look all around.  In my opinion, his handling of the situation is babyish and irresponsible.  If there are facts or evidence to support the accusation then present it as such.

If they want me to strip fully naked, I will do it,” said Niemann.

that statement is absolutely reckless as well........irresponsible and worse still utterly inconceivable. just to think that someone simply jealous of Hans has so much power that it will resort to full nudity.........

I will be waiting a few days to know If I cancel my Chess.com subscription over their actions that look entirely based on monetary calculations.

It makes you question whether or not playing fully naked in a chess tournament is against the rules. Magnus quitting is not against the rules, is it? I think that behavior has already been put to the test.

So my question is this, is threatening full nudity against the rules? It seems like a threat like that could wreak havoc on the mindset of other players. Never knowing if, or when, he may strip down naked at a moments notice. What will set him off? What could trigger the streaker in him? Who makes statements like that?

At least it would be a reaction that nobody would soon forget.

Assume for a moment Hans really did cheat - electronic device type stuff.  And Magnus suspected it.

What should Magnus have done?  Demand an immediate strip-search, complain after game to interviewers, or completely ignore it and continue playing tournament?

Sounds like everyone thinks he should've ignored it and kept playing, because after all he has no scientific irrefutable proof.  I've never liked Magnus, but if he really suspected cheating... not sure what other options he had.

Not tweet about it.

Only full body cavity will do...complete with forced coughs.

The thing about metal is its one thing to build a live stockfish terminator, but they will not understand the loss of power. Hans doesnt understand either.

They say he "did a Mourinho" in his post-match interview. Difference with football is that cheating in football just becomes a part of the strategy.

Cheating or accusing your opponent of cheating in chess takes the human element out of the game and brings the game into disrepute.

You are a pretty amazing clairvoyant...you know that Carlsen has no friends, and that I wear a mask everywhere.  It has nothing to do with sour grapes and bitter assumptions, I'm sure.
