Simple answer: never. Not even in a thousand years. You can be as much positional genius as you want but you simply gonna lose because it's impossible for human brain to calculate thousands of positions per second

If Magnus Carlsen was immortal, how long would it take him to play as perfectly as Stockfish every game? He already plays almost perfectly, but there are moments where Hikaru or Fabi or some other top player gets the better of him. This is also ruling out him turning like Bobby and becoming insane, that is out of the question. Magnus Carlsen so far is the closest person to play perfectly, until the new generation reaches enough experience, given that is claimed the downfall for them from Magnus and Hikaru. It seems Magnus is the closest yet, but how long, if immortal, would it take him?
