I didn't see the end to see if Magnus kept the throttle to the floor or not, bit it felt like he left up some on Gukesh so a not to destroy his will to play ever again, lol. But against Fabi it doesn't appear he left up any.

It is impressive considering that Caruana is rated ahead of Carlsen in blitz on the official FIDE rating lists. Those numbers obviously do not show the entire truth, but Caruana is a great speed chess player, as well as great in all other formats. Over the last decade he has on average been the second best player in the world with some margin. Beating such a player +18-0=8 in a match is not something that is easy to repeat.
