Magnus Carlsen

I would suggest referencing credible sources, i.e. magazine or news articles. Some of which may be found online. But, I would use caution when gathering info from wiki or similar online sources. imho.

Probably the one with the most biographical information would be the following:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/9056914375/ref=s9_psimh_gw_p14_d3_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=14EJ572DZ5X94F57F9NX&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1630083502&pf_rd_i=507846
It's basically a reprint of the original 2004 book, Wonderboy.
If you are looking for game collections, Edition Ohm printed one with 64 of his games a year or two ago, Magnus Force by everyman just came out, covering two tournaments shortly before London and India, the two that ultimately had him break Kasparov's old record for highest rating ever, and then of course the book pfren mentioned which won't come out until December 18th and that will cover London in part and India in full.

Schools and universities tend to discourage or prohibit the use of wikipedia for anything brah.
Schools primary purpose is to educate people into being submissive slaves that respect the authorities.
Restricting people in the way of how to solve the mostly mindnumbing tasks is the first thing I would ignore. Simply write what you read in your own words so it isn't copy&paste.
Where else would you get the facts about someone like Carlsen? You can always try to write a self-thought-out-story about him too. While it won't contain any facts it might be an interesting read for the teacher.
Wikipedia is great to use as a start, in school and elsewhere. But you have to check the sources and be sceptical.

YOu right brah, wikipedia is written by them evil teaches who write there the false informations all overtheplace so they set up a trap and bust you when you try to use it for your homework!
Here's what crap's about Carlsen on Wikipedia:
"Magnus Carlsen was born in the 90s of the passed century as the son of Carl Magnussen and Emma Watson, who were a couple of swedish lumberjacks on their way to the norwegian king who wanted to count the population of Scandinavia and thus ordered all Scandinavians to come to the holy city of Scandinavia: Stavanger.
Because they couldn't afford to feed him, they set him out in a small boat into the Fiord. He was found and risen by wolfes, bears and russians who used to inhabit the forrests of this area.
That's also where he met Gary Kasparov who tought him chess. Whenever Magnus was not behaving well he was put into a shed where he was forced to carve chessmen. And when these did not look close enough to the Staunton-set he was punished even more!"
At this point I stopped reading any further!
Any good websites for info on Magnus Carlsen? I am doing a biography on him in school, so I need info bad. Any suggestions?
