You should be able to stop the emails by going to your settings:
http://www.chess.com/home/alerts
Right now your settings are allowing all emails for Chess.com announcements and alerts to be sent

u know guys i get tones and tones of e mail when i go to my ggmail account about bla bla is it necessary to send e mail like this chess .com ????
