Damn (your system's a lot better than mine).
Making my own chess videos!

Yeah well your chess is a lot better than mine haha. Just check out the last few blitz games I played tonight lol.

Did Kerry Shirts inspire you too?
yes! In fact, I was thinking about being as hyperactive and loud as he is. You know how I can get even on here sometimes.
But I promise to write out my analysis and get a second opinion on my games before I film anything . . . I don't wanna come off like a complete fool after all.

Yes, I'd be yelling and jumping up and down, Oh My God...he's trying to win a pawn!!! Am I worried?? NO!! Silman says not to FREAK OUT and I'm still up a power!!
...then on the next move its a checkmate on h2 or something...

Yeah I appreciate the humorous and good natured ribbing but can anyone at least tell me how to make these videos? Like at least some software recommendations. And also, how do you do screen captures?

I'll buy a mike. Sorry If I wasn't clear on that. I'd be willing to buy a mike and whatever equipment is necessary. I'm just asking as to what is necessary.

I would try posting your question in the comments on youtube chess videos of popular chess entertainment authors such as kingcrusher, chessexplained, or chessnetwork.
Those authors make some entertaining chess videos. While they are entertaining, One video on Chess.com will do more for improvement, understanding, and even entertainment than watching 100 pure entertainment chess videos (but they are good, clean fun now and then). I speak from personal experience. : )
Honestly OP, I say go for it man! Have fun with it.
Hello to all amici mei on this beautiful Friday night/Saturday morning from Miami!
I would like to create my own instructional chess videos to post on line, just like some members here. The problem is, I'm not computer savvy like some kids and dont know the first thing on how to do it. (Then again I don't know the first thing about chess either but hey.)
I'm looking for recommendations on what software to use to create those. I dont have a webcam or a mike. I am running a desktop PC with a Pentium dual-core processor at 2.6GHz with 6.0 GB of RAM. 64 bit system using Windows 7 from 2009.
And tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
