SCID (google for it) should be a one-stop shop free chess database + interface which already comes with a few engines for analysis.

So. I just signed up for the one year course with Andrei Istratescu and other very strong players.
But the thing is that I don't have a chess board to use to set up the positions I use in the lessons. Does anyone know any chess engine where I can set a position without giving all the moves before? Preferably a free software:P
