Could I play you and Bertovzki cause I’m only like 12 andI want a challenge!
Sure, we'll do a triple slot match.
Let's play tomorrow when Bert's had some sleep. I won't go easy on you guys!😊
You want some of this too, Lola?😅

You said you're 12 years old, that's already pretty impressive.
Kids your age would probably prefer fortnite and whatever games are hot right now.😅
I’m not 2219 rating like you colby but Im up for a challenge
Your ~900 blitz rating suggest otherwise.
Sanchez has stopped playing for now.
He says that he doesn't want to drop below 2100 again, because it would just be too shameful, hence is why he just took a break for a while.
You have to understand the psychological impact of such a devastating and embarrassing losing streak.
Facing the fact that you might not play at the level you thought you did can be crushing, especially when the people around you are thriving and getting far stronger.
A national master at 2080 is often ridiculed by the esteemed chess circles he socializes with.
People of such prestige simply do not tolerate weakness of any kind and will shun you.
Games are almost always most fun while you’re improving. Chess is no exception to that.
If/when he returns, I would recommend that he work on tactics a bit. I know I start missing more tactics when I neglect practicing them for a while.
Have you ever gone through something similar when you were 2000 rated?
I love the guy, but it seems pretty unprecedented considering his original rating.
There’s nothing unprecedented about it. There are plenty of floored masters playing in OTB tournaments. I haven’t been down to 2000, but my OTB rating has dipped under 2100 several times in recent years. It’s around 2150 now. Reaching 2200 was my life goal, and when I got there I pretty much lost my motivation to work on my game. My rating simply reflects that.
People shouldn’t worry about ratings so much. Your rating will naturally gravitate towards your true playing strength anyway, that’s how the rating system works.
I recently reached 2227 Fide, but apparently I'm still not eligible for a CM title.
You're right I have also seen plenty of NMs with relatively low ratings during tournaments for various reasons but the one thing that never changes despite of that is their playing strength.
You could play a 2090 - 2100 NM OTB, but his strength won't be affected one bit.
That rule does not apply online in my opinion, especially with Blitz games.
I did a terrible rapid tournament last saturday, making a performance 400 points below my rating and losing repeatedly against people I do not lose to normally.
Better leave chess for a couple days and reassess your play I guess.
I think I tilt too easily (generally my losses can occur close to each other)
Still keen for a game Colby , time zone is a bit of an issue now I am back at work I was up to 2am lastnight before you came online had to crash , it is 16:57 here at present , I wonder what the time difference is ?
Where exactly are you in Ralia?
Got a Kiwi buddy in Auckland.
Yeah we can go any time, what time control would you like to play against me?
I live in Christchurch NZ , time control , I usuall play 15/10 , 20 or 30 min games ,I dont play blitz but I dont mind either way

I'm 12 and i spend all day doing school and chess cause i am banned from videogame
dsanchez just hit absolute rock bottom at 2068, it's truly bizarre what's happening right now.
He has never dropped that low before and is convinced that cheaters are a big part of this.
I think he's even considering to start fresh with a new account.
Is anyone else experiencing this at around 2000?
Are you registering substantially more losses than usual?
Almost sounds like a conspiracy.
