Interestingly, in the book "Learning from the Grandmasters" IM Day stopped official annotation of his game at 28... Qe4, then saying his opponent resigned, unwilling to investigate... and then continued the end. On Chessgames.com the game is included all the way to mate. I questioned this in the forums to that game and here was his response...

IMlday: ... I don't think Prins played on after ..Qe4+ but Cozens added the finale for drama in the first edition of "The King Hunt". The second edition also corrected my name from D. Laurence.

I'd recently posted in another thread a game by Lawrence Day, the Canadian IM and writer, in which he mated his opponent by castling. I thought it would be fun to start a thread where folks can post mates by castling.
I'll start with Day's game and a few more. For diversity, Morphy's game is played at Rook-odds and in Kvicalas game, mate occurs in the middle of the board.
