Mate with only two knights (one each side)?

I just finished a game in which both sides were left with only one knight each, no other figures or pawns. I was interested to note that the computer didn´t automatically consider the game drawn, as it does when too little mating material is left. A mate in this situation is obviously possible, but isn´t it always an assisted mate (or a huge blunder!)? The last move must obviously be from the mating knight; the move before must also be from the other knight, as the king must be in the corner and has no square from which he could have moved from.

Has anyone ever encountered a similar mate in a game?

PS - just noticed that in my example Black also has a normal mate in 3, with 1. ...Qb7+ 2.Nb5 QxN+ 3.Ka2 (a3) Qb3#, so it would be huge blunders on both sides!
