Why set the game up so we play as White?!? I was going to massively criticise you for your third move which took me half of the legal moves to guess correctly, but we weren't even playing as you! Seriously?

We can talk about 2...Nc6 if you like. That seems rather strange/interesting to me. I see nothing else of interest.

It was a 1 minute Bullet game, but you got no points for it cos your rating hasn't changed for the last 50 games at least.

It's very unusual. You give White three strong options. He can play Nf3 and transpose into the Scotch which would seem to be an odd choice from White to me. He could also take on e5 and after you recapture he can attack your Knight with either Nf3 or f4. Lastly, he could push d4 and also just have what seems like a nice game to me.

P.S. You know that the idea behind 1...e5 is to take on d4 should it be played, right?

I guess he's only able to play such opponents because the games are unrated.

2..Nc6 looks fine for black

It is called the Kennedy variation in the Nimzowitsch defence.

Why use that move order to get there though? This way you need to know the Nimzowitsch Defence and the 1...e5 defences.

It just doesn't make any sense. If that's what you want to play why are you letting White have a LOT of other options when you simply don't have to? Just play 1...Nc6.
