Isn’t the maximum number of move in a game 75? Cause I just played and 85 move game which ended in a draw by agreement.

The 75 move rule (sometimes the 50 move rule) makes a game a draw when that many moves have been played without a pawn move or capture.

The maximum number of moves in a game is 5898.5 moves for the 50 move rule and 8848.5 for the 75 move rule.
