Also h1 could be Ubik’s square because that is the square I check to see if it’s white anytime I see a chessboard in a movie. Usually it’s black tho.

No, the coordinates are useful, but memory works by association so if you associate certain memorable events with particular squares, it becomes easier to visualise them.
Memorising the squares is useful in Chess, particularly for following commentaries, but a1, b3, etc. aren't the easiest mnemonics. In order to assist in remembering them, I want to give an additional label to each and every square on the board. For example: c4 could be Bobby's square, as he (Fischer) habitually liked to put a bishop on this square; h3 might be where Shirov played the "greatest move of all time" etc. Each square could have more than one label. Can people make suggestions for memorable labels for each and every square on the board?
