I'm on my 3rd morphy game. Memorizing them so that I can play them out and then reflect on the each move from each player and see where bad and good moves occur and alternatives. I'm only on my 4th day of doing this so I have to play out the games daily for awhile and keep them memorized. They are short games as well, not over 30 moves. I started doing this after reading how Fischer and others did this. I'm still new at this but I enjoy the process and it enables me to engrain basic opening principles, middle game and especially the Morphy endgames that are so fun to see and hope to do in my own games when similar patterns will arise. I would like to hear from others who do this as well. I would like some thoughts and pointers on how you learn longer games and how to keep them memorized.
